ScotRail Awards Customer Contact Centre Contract to TP 

ScotRail has signed a multi-year agreement with TP to operate a multi-channel customer contact centre designed to improve passenger support and service  

ScotRail and Thatchers Cider will plant apple trees at three Scottish stations as part of a new “community orchard” initiative focused on sustainability and local engagement. 

Network Rail Invests £6 Million in the Far North Line 

Network Rail has announced a £6 million engineering programme on the Far North Line. Works beginning in June 2026 include more than four kilometres of track renewals, bridge repairs and drainage improvements. Rail services between Dingwall and Wick will be suspended from 7 to 29 June during the works. 

VINCI Secures £856 Million HS2 Contract in Birmingham 

VINCI subsidiary Taylor Woodrow has secured an £856 million contract connected to HS2 infrastructure in Birmingham, including construction of the rolling stock depot and the Network Integrated Control Centre.
