We are delivering comprehensive cleaning services to the office spaces, depot areas and train carriages located in the Hitachi’s Craigentinny Train Maintenance Centre in Edinburgh.
The trio of locations requires considerable planning to accommodate for high-risk environment (depot), short timeframe (train cleaning) and working around customers/staff with minimal disruption to end-users (office spaces).
The contract requirements cover cleaning of office spaces, kitchens and toilets, 24-hour services to the depot area and daily cleaning regimes. We met with Hitachi at the beginning of the project to ensure the integration of Perfect Clean staff into overall procedures of a busy environment and stringent health and safety procedures. We provide PPE to our staff and have specialist training modules in place to ensure safe working.
We have established a cleaning routine at this 24/7 site to cover office spaces, kitchens and toilets, as well as depot and storage areas. Our services must be delivered to live office and depot environments without disruption to the day-to-day activities of staff working on the site. We worked to develop an effective programme for our operatives to follow which ensured our staff could work with minimal disruption to the Hitachi office workers and engineers.
